My husband made it clear that we would NOT be visiting HomeGoods again.
Nice, clean, and organized store with lots of affordable home decor. I bought four sets of bath towels and new throw pillows to spruce up my home for about $100! Can't go wrong with that!
I was purchasing a full price $300.00 rug at the point of sale manager cones over and says, " it smells, it was returned" I just want you to know. I said "oh wow let me smell it." It clearly smelled like cooking and mold. I said thanks for bringing this to my attention. Will it be discounted? He said no, do you want it or should I take it off your bill? I said, well wouldn't you be able to discount it now that you've claimed it was returned and smells? He said " no its full price" I just felt there was somthing not right about the whole thing. That was strange. Thanks for reading.
Usually I have good luck at HomeGoods, but this particular store, this particular evening had many damaged Furniture products and they would not hold overnight two items for me. Very disappointed.
My friend was SO excited to get a new tv stand but while we were there her wallet was stolen. We told an employee who was checking out my friend and he said "Oh, well I'll help you after I ring up this lady." He never came to talk to us and no one in the store was willing to help. I was leaning on a piece of furniture and an employee asked if I needed help moving it because I wanted to buy it and I said loudly, "No, I'm waiting here because my friend's wallet was just stolen in this store and we are waiting for the police." The manager was right in front of me helping load a piece of furniture and heard me and said nothing to us during our entire time in the store nor did anyone offer to help. I will never shop here again and will tell everyone I know to never frequent a Home Goods because of the horrible way the negligence of the employees.
Horrible customer service. I called the store for the store hours and it clearly stated 10pm on Saturday. It was 9:20pm and as I was entering the store, the Manager sternly said, “We’re closing in 5 mins.” I said, “Oh, I called and they stated you closed at 10pm.” She rudely replies, “No. We OPEN at 10am.” I asked her where the Bath section is & she said “In the back.” And walked away without making eye contact.
